Two Hamlet & Associates Attorneys Honored as 2020 North Carolina Super Lawyers
Attorney H. Mark Hamlet is ranked as one of the state’s Top 100 in the list of 2020 North Carolina Super Lawyers; Mr. Hamlet also was honored in the practice area of construction litigation. 2020 is Mr. Hamlet’s 10th year as a Super Lawyer.
For the second year, attorney Jessica Humphries is listed as one of Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” in the practice area of civil litigation defense. The “Rising Stars” all are under the age of 40 and have practiced law for 10 years or fewer.
Super Lawyers are nominated by their peers because of their professional achievement in more than 70 practice areas. The nominees undergo a peer-review selection process before the “Super Lawyers” are determined and announced.
Each year, no more than 5 percent of the attorneys in North Carolina are recognized as “Super Lawyers.” Only about 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are honored as “Rising Stars.”
Mr. Hamlet and Mrs. Humphries are based in Wilmington, N.C.
