Nicole B. Slaughter to be Construction Section Chairwoman of the NCADA
Hamlet Law would like to congratulate Nicole B. Slaughter for being selected by her peers to be the Construction Section chairwoman of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
“This honor is well deserved and comes after years of laying the groundwork by doing excellent work and exhibiting leadership in NCADA,” said Mark Hamlet, former chairman of the Construction Section.
The NCADA was founded in 1977 and is a resource for education, networking and information sharing for N.C. civil defense attorneys.
Ms. Slaughter is based in Wilmington, N.C., and in addition to her involvement in the NCADA, she is a founding member, board member and secretary of the N.C. Civil Collaborative Law Association, member of the N.C. Bar Association’s Construction Section council, and member of the N.C. Association of Women Attorneys, Coastal Women Attorneys chapter. She also is a published author and speaker at continuing legal education programs regarding construction law.
